Logistic Manager – Early Works Site Based
Reporting to Site Construction Manager, this position is accountable for the provision of high quality Logistics support and services to Indomet Coal Project operation activities. This position will be responsible for the design, development and improvement of logistic function, include to mange field and non field travel, accommodation, administration, facilities and transportation. To ensure provide direction to Logistic team and Contractors with compliance of compliance of “Zero Harm”, HSE&C goals. Ensure all HSEC policies and procedures are followed and a proactive approach to HSEC maintained. Instil a level of awareness to all contractors that ensures they meet BHP Billiton’s expectations.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least 15 years experience in similar positions within mining project and/or oil gas in isolated location preferred. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization also with the contractors. Ability to meet the deadline, good problem solving, conflict management skills and excellent in negotiating skills. Fluent communication and writing skills in Bahasa and English (oral and written) are desirable
