Cloud Computing is the next step toward ubiquitous and pervasive computing for the world. The Windows Azure Platform is Microsoft’s strategic focus and our leading Platform-As-A-Service offering. Join the worldwide Azure ISV team in the Developer and Platform Evangelism (DPE) organization in recruiting key ISVs to develop their applications on our cloud platform.


The DPE team is looking for a Developer Evangelist (DE) who demonstrates 80% technical expertise backed with 20% business development experience. As a member of the Azure ISV team, you will be responsible for identifying, driving, and closing Azure ISV opportunities in your region. You will help these partners bring their cloud applications to market by providing architectural guidance and deep technical support during the ISV’s evaluation, development, and deployment of the Azure services. This position entails evangelizing the Windows Azure Platform to ISV partners, removing roadblocks to their deployment, and driving partner satisfaction.




In this role, you would be responsible for:
  • Developing and deployment of high quality, commercially available applications in your region
  • Ongoing evangelism of the Windows Azure Platform

PTU/Enterprise Partner Lead Job - Jakarta, ID

Job Role:
  • Manage the relationships between Microsoft and the assigned portfolio of partners, including managing the relationship externally towards the partners and internally across the various team members working or interacting with these partners
  • Develop a comprehensive partner portfolio strategy that sets the vision and direction for partner segmentation, selection, engagement and a plan to close gaps, and readiness, and incorporates inputs from the ATU, STU, BMO, PST and Services.
  • Develop and implement an execution plan for PSPs with Solution PAMs.
  • Prioritize obstacles impacting the PTU and EPG business and work with management and peers to remove/mitigate.
  • Advise EPG Leads on a regular basis what improvements to the Ent. Partner business will bring about most value to EPG.

The required key competences are Sales and Relationship Management related to a thorough understanding of MS volume licensing offerings. The Annuity Lead adds value by negotiating licensing agreements that maximize long-term revenue and enhance the customer experience. It is a sales role that requires an ongoing working relationship with customers and close cooperation with CIAM (Corporate Inside Account Managed) and CPM (Corporate Partner Managed) segment field Sales Management and the Business Desk. The Annuity Lead role is primarily focused on the EA (Enterprise Agreement) lifecycle, including New and Renewal negotiations. This includes helping customers to understand how to purchase, renew and maximize the licenses for their Microsoft technology solutions. Success in the role includes hiring, coaching, developing a team of Licensing Sales Specialists whose objective is to grow the licensing annuity business, closing deals within guidance, and increasing customer satisfaction. The success is measured by meeting or exceeding Sales objectives – whilst developing a strong Organization Health Index - such as: EA (and Select & Select Plus): revenue, penetration, renewals, revenue recapture, up sell / cross sell (BPOS, Enterprise Application Platform) and Services.

The Annuity Lead plays a critical role hiring, coaching and developing a team of sales professionals whose key accountabilities are to:
  • Provide volume licensing expertise within the sub / district / region. This includes mastering Program and Product Licensing scenarios focused principally on EA, EAS (EA Subscription) and Select Plus offerings.
  • Perform a Sales role, including:
    - Contributing to the overall account plan by developing approriate licensing strategies to further grow revenue and annuity penetration,

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) provides support delivery management through Premier support and services designed to improve customer IT operation health and their People and Process maturity. The SDM is a key long term, relationship based, customer facing support role. Also, the SDM supports and leads the opportunity management for support and consulting delivery business of the Microsoft services and acting as single point of contact for all delivery coordination across Microsoft support and services.

The key aspect of this role includes
  • Business Service Introduction and Review - Plan and review services orientation (Premier Support and consulting) on ITIL Framework. Demonstrated experience of articulating, documenting and running monthly and quarterly business reviews with CXO level is key aspect of this function.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Management - The SDM is required to participate in some of the group budgeting and planning exercises internally and externally and will have the shared goals for few key Premier delivery matrix.
  • Service Delivery Management - Improve customer health through service delivery, pro-active planning and execution. Align the customer’s IT and business needs (vision and mission) to MS service portfolio through consultative and preventive advice (ITIL framework). Work across 8 to 10 public and private sector assigned accounts and diagnose/stabilize/educate on service delivery “Improvement points”.
  • Opportunity Management- During joint planning exercise with accounts, sales, global and other business units the SDM contributes and identifies the Premier delivery opportunities and translates them into clear set of goals and actions.
  • Coach/ Mentor - The SDM will act as a coach and mentor to his/her regional sales, delivery and other business units in recommending Premier and MCS services portfolio aligned to Premier Service Delivery Methodology. A good balance of business and people leadership behaviors are attributes of this role
  • Relationship Management - Experience in Enterprise/ Public Sector account is must. Partner with customer’s unit (CSM, IT Team) and MS teams (Sales, consulting, operations team) to keep client satisfaction high while maintaining revenue and profitability. Apply interpersonal and stake holder management skills to vast set of audiences (IT units to Business Heads) internally and externally.
Product and Technology experience
  • Given the role requires working with broad set of IT staff including IT Operations team, the candidate must have knowledge of wide range of Microsoft and other technologies within Industry recognized IT operations. Must be aware of the multiple components of a core IT environment (Telecom, Network, Desktop, Messaging, Database, App. Layer etc). Awareness of Govt. Taxation, educational systems and planning experience will be helpful.
  • Problem/ Incident Management - Manage reactive support delivery issues on diverse scope/products and work along with Internal/external technical support and other units within Microsoft to drive issue resolution on agreed scope. Maintain high customer experience and satisfaction throughout the problem resolution. Use incident trends to align preventive activities.
Qualifications
  • 12-15 years of related experience in enterprise support delivery and product consulting services in a client facing role is must.
  • Demonstrated experience of presenting to CXO level and managing 2-5 million USD worth of support and consulting accounts is must.
  • Project Management skill is mandatory. PMP Certification is added advantage.
  • ITIL Service Mgmt. or Practitioner level certification is must.
  • BA/ BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
  • Candidate must have excellent presentation and communication (speaking/writing) skills.
